These photos of a Samurai tattoo pay homage to the warrior culture as exemplified in the Bushido code. Not unlike the knights of yore and their code of chivalry, but more developed, Bushido is a philosophy as well as a way of life. We tattoo quite a few soldiers, both past and present, at Lighthouse Tattoo, and there’s certainly a theme that can be observed: Vikings; Templar Knights; Spartans; and Samurai. There’s other things people get to commemorate their military service, but those 4 themes far and away are the most popular, as they reflect a pedigree of warfare few others can match.
