Here’s some answers to questions you might have about our 5 hour session deal. Enjoy!

  1. Can I share the session with someone else? Nope. It costs money in supplies and time getting pieces ready, stencil drying, etc so sharing the time actually ends up being less cost effective for most people if you’re getting something small enough to do 2 or more pieces in a given 5 hour timeframe. Want something small? Just ask how much, you might find yourself pleasantly surprised!

  2. What do I get for my 5 hours? That time is allotted for filling out consent paperwork, stencil placement and drying, and to break down in time for the next session or in preparation for closing the shop. The first tattoo of the day usually starts around 12:30pm and ends around 4:30-4:45, to prepare for the second session of the day. The second session will start around 5:30pm and end around 9:30 or so, so we can break down and head home. Ultimately, we’re shooting for 4 hours of actual tattoo-time, allowing for potty/smoke/stretch breaks; transitioning between appointments; and snacks or whatnot.

  3. What if it my tattoo doesn’t take the full 5 hours? The 5 hour window is estimated so the session can be completed with about 4 hours of actual tattoo time: breaks, paperwork, and cleaning included. If your tattoo takes significantly less than this, some of your money will be refunded. We’re pretty experienced at this, so it doesn’t happen very often.

  4. What if my tattoo can’t be completed in a 5 hour session? Larger pieces can schedule multiple 5 hour sessions, or any remaining work can be completed at an hourly rate. Certainly discuss this with your artist before scheduling anything, to make sure your expectations meet with the reality.

We’ve had people try to split appointments; complain that they didn’t get a full five hours of tattooing; get mad because someone they know got a bigger tattoo than they did for the same price; or complained because they couldn’t get a sleeve in a single session. Some of these people are intolerably stupid, don’t be like them. Our $300 for 5 hours’ rate is a good deal, anyway you count it. We don’t rip people off, we’re all in this together. If you try to scam us or give us shit about the way we do business, we’re done.
