Hand, Neck, and Face Tattoo Requirements
In an effort to protect our community and do tattoos ethically, we will not do hand, neck, or face tattoos on young or otherwise inexperienced clients
In this part of the country, very visible tattoos can be the difference between having gainful employment and not.
We will not do any of these tattoos unless the person is HEAVILY tattooed, has at least one FULL, COMPLETE sleeve (they know what it’s like to be tattooed visibly and how poorly people can treat them because of it), independently wealthy (if you’re a wealthy business owner, you aren’t worried about getting hired any time soon), or a convicted felon (most jobs that will hire a person with a record don’t care about visible tattoos).
If this level of care for clientele is striking to you, or catches you off guard, understand that we have seen it all. We have experienced this judgement from others, and we have dear friends and long-time clients who have received these tattoos and experienced the same judgement. At the end of the day, fuck what anyone thinks of you. We love these tattoos, and we like doing them, but your ability to get a job and provide for yourself and/or those you love is far more important to us than taking your money. This is a kindness, not a curse. If you’re mad, fuck what you think, too.
