Bust of Apollo
This rendering of the bust of the Greek/Roman god Apollo is a fantastic first tattoo for the young lady who got it! Performed in about 3.5 hours by realism artist Will Wood.

And hope to die… This little piece was performed by realism artist Will Wood as the first part to a bestie tattoo. While we don’t necessarily endorse getting matching tattoos with your friends, the outcome is undeniably impactful.
All day this Saturday, March 25th, Lighthouse Tattoo will be offering select piercings from our apprentice piercer to finish up her training. The affected piercings include: Septum; tongue; labret and vertical labret; eyebrow; daith; and rook. These piercings can all be had for only $10 and only this Saturday, March 25th! We do not take appointments for piercings, they are done on a first-come, first served basis as walk-ins only, so the sooner you get here Saturday, the better off you are!
Timothy jumped right in with a huge full-color Chronicles of Narnia movie poster tattoo and we wanted to share it with you.
One more time Disney: We NEED a coming-of-age tale for the enigmatic Darth Maul! Let’s GO!!!
If you like comics and haven’t watched any of the Flash series, you don’t know what you’re missing. It’s definitely better than the Flash from the movies. This particular villain, Reverse Flash, is strikingly similar to the regular Flash in a way that only really happens in comic books and B-rated films. Still, this guy juxtaposed against his arch-nemesis on the other side of Chris’s calf here is impressive.
If you don’t know the name, look it up! One of history’s guitar greats, Stevie Ray Vaughn left us too soon, but he left us with a tremendous catalog of amazing music to remember him by!
We really enjoy our religious tattoos here at Lighthouse Tattoo, and Catholic iconography is one of the richest sources for material an artist could ever hope for!
We got this dry shot of a still-healing piece that was done the other day as part of a horror sleeve our realism artist Will Wood is currently working on. We’ll get a better shot of it once it’s fully healed. Hey, we it says ‘tattoo’ on the door, nobody ever said we were good photographers… Enjoy!
Clowns are creepy, sure. Four-eyed clowns, SUPER creepy. This is the stuff of nightmares, man! A fun little banger done as a birthday gift for a friend, Get ‘cher nightmare tattoos at Lighthouse Tattoo. Open seven days a week!
This take on a Dark Mark is pretty cool, terrible photography notwithstanding. We’ll take a better photo of it once it’s healed.
Disney seems to have done a pretty good job with The Mandalorian and Kenobi series’, but there’s two things we still need to see: An in-his-prime Luke Skywalker as he fights post-destruction of the Death Star; and the rise of Darth Vader to his peak power. We’ve hit on some really great moments, a la Rogue One, but come on Disney! We need something with a bit more substance (and force lightning)!
It’s that time of year again kids, the Lighthouse Tattoo Halloween Party is back! Here’s what you need to know: the party starts at 8pm on Saturday, October 22nd. We will be having a pre-party for those eager beavers who want to try their hand at a special game to get the festivities underway starting at 7pm that day. Children will not be allowed, so leave the little ones with a sitter. It is a costume party, and there will be prizes for best costumes, so please, dress to impress! Details can be found in the ‘Events’ section on this website. Everyone is invited and encouraged to bring as many friends as you like, you do not have to be a client of Lighthouse Tattoo to attend. So come one, come all!
This portrait of Neptune goes to show the difference between how dark something may look fresh versus the healed version. Our realism artist Will Wood takes pains to makes sure that the details are revealed as the tattoo heals, rather than some, who just do enough to take a photo of their fresh work, which falls apart as it gets too light during the healing process. Decide for yourself: would you rather have something done right the first time, or have to come back to have it ‘fixed’?
To some of us dogs are more than our best friends, they’re the best parts of us, they’re family. Such is the same with this case, as Andrea so loves her canine so much she chose to have his image permanently decorate her flesh. This healed photos also goes far to show you what you can expect from a healed portrait from Lighthouse Tattoo.
These Victorian-styled letters say it all for our latest ‘Problem Child’. Aren’t we all?
The horror tattoos of Will Wood are the stuff of legend. Raised from a young age on The Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th franchises (after warming up to it with a little Gremlins, maybe), Will fell in love with the horror genre. While maybe not as well versed as some of those died-in-the-wool fans out there, we challenge anyone to come up with a horror film that Will hasn’t seen. If you are interested in feeding that darkness within yourself with a new tattoo celebrating your favorite horror icon, we would strongly suggest giving Will’s portfolio a look. Here are just a few of the incredible pieces he’s rendered over the last couple of years. Happy Halloween!
If you haven’t seen the show Peaky Blinders starring Cillian Murphy, pictured here, you kind owe it to yourself to check out an episode or 2. Really some of the best television we’ve seen in quite some time. I’d avoid it if you’re sensitive to violence though, it can be a bit rough. Anyway, we like it, Miguel here certainly likes it, which explains his new Tommy Shelby portrait tattoo, so maybe go give it a look!
Darrell loves this stuff. A lot of people do. Native American tribute art has been a staple of tattooing since the days of Sailor Jerry Collins. The intensity the sheer size of this piece generates is intoxicating and those little pops of red make all the difference in bringing this piece to life!
